Much like a teenager coming on their own, an office space is not an office space until there is some randomly sourced ‘Teamwork’ or ‘Synergy’ decal plaster on a wall. Europ Assistance is no lame ass company so they partnered up and we transformed the walls of their new temporary office space.

The designs are an extension of Europ Assistance brand identity assets. Particularly their custom contextual illustrations that capture the purpose of their business with simplistic illustrations and their brand colors. From the waiting area, to the open concept office space, to the meeting rooms and kitchen where tea will most definitely be spilled, every wall and space reinforces the uniqueness of the Europ Assistance brand.

The custom illustrations, although provided, were extended and adapted to fit the specification of the new office space. The designs are vinyls and were printed and installed.

Development Process

Briefing and

Art Direction

The project started off with a briefing meeting and the reception of Europ Assistance custom Illustration files. We also received the wall dimensions.

Because the EA (not Electronic Arts) didn’t really have a preference for what should go where, I figured we split the illustrations into 2 categories whereby one set of illustrations would be used in the open areas of the office space. While the other set would be used only in the more restricted parts of the office space, like the kitchen and meeting rooms.

Rounds of mockups until 🏆

The process was a collaborative one that involved several rounds of mockups developed to give EA a sense of what the space would look like after production and installment. Where we landed saw some walls covered with flat colors and others with custom illustrations. Not gonna lie, I think it turned out perfect.
